The Slip Hippies are an acoustic duo built for the water. Stephen Henson and Kevin Shook play an easy, grown-up sound at a comfortable, conversation-friendly volume, the kind of music that fits a deck at sunset and a crowd that wants to hear each other. Stephen is a veteran solo artist known for his soulful voice, and Kevin brings years on stage with The Grilled Lincolns and Dublin 5. Together they cover a lot of ground: classic rock, 80s, country, beach and island, soul and Motown, and 90s and 2000s. Two people, a sound that fills the room without ever taking it over, and a great night out on the Chesapeake.
